The S R Educational & Charitable Trust was established in 2004 April by Late Sri. S Raghavan with the avowed object of providing highest service by the spread of knowledge. The Trust aims towards providing quality education by creation of a centre of academic excellence for promoting studies in Kerala. It also aims to serve society by providing better health care facilities to all kinds of people as well.

Sri Sankara Dental College was established under the aegis of The S R Educational and Charitable trust to prepare students for Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS). The first academic session commenced in 2005-06. The Dental College & Hospital are committed to provide quality education in dentistry and provide good health and well being to all sections of the society.
